Ngd: Jp6!!! Sparklesss!!!!!

Bought this one off a friend of mine a little bit ago. This is the best playing JP I've had yet but I think its because he did a really really really amazing job setting it up

I tried my best to get pictures that show off the sparkels but its hard when you're using an iphone. The neck is very figured too, i love it.

I'm really glad he took out the LF/CL and put in a Steve's special and super 2, they sound a lot better.

Anyways, this is a nice reminder of why (IMO), EBMM makes the best production line guitars around. The only things I think come close are the Ibanez J-customs and some Parker stuff.

NICE. unique color.

i agree, some of the best guitars around. i would say in no order, PRS, ricekbacker, Ernie ball, G and L, perhaps a few others for mass produced guitars. are J customs really in this category? figure they are well...custom.

i would also say carvin, but each carvin is pretty much custom. i much prefer the BUILD of my carvin to just about anything under 5000....i can go for an electronics and pup swap though.

which brings me to my next point, i think the electronics on EBMM are the best. people overlook this. the switches, knobs, etc are all so smooth, so sturdy, so high quality. they really making USING the guitar feel great.

dimarzios are nothing to drip about either. if my carvin came with new wiring and after market pups it would decimate all. it would also bump the prive up about 400 from the factory, so again i cant complain. get what you pay for.

sell...carvin? what? NOOOO

actually if you had a really nice car vin and solid for a JP6, i can actually see that move. car vin still wins for custom options, better woods, better high fret access.

JP6 wins hands down on a really awesome bridge, better pups, electronics, and wiring, probably a better peice of wood in the neck (love the figured maple they use), definitely better resale. EBs are probably some of the best resale right?
