From my own view, i think every one should have their own real interesting, hope this game will offer you more entertainment feeling. but not spend all your time to it. because it is just a play not study.

Given that Tux is free and on all major operating systems I don't think anyone's considered it an issue before...

Nice thread. So with regards to the songs, what if we're not good enough to play any them yet? How do we progress to that level?

Regarding the first vid, The Rack, any exercise is good to keep you hands on the guitar, but some are really good for certain things. This one is good for stretching especially when you get below the 5th fret!

Hey all, I've written out a bunch of chromatic octave displacement exercises. Theyre ****ing hard- play em with pick and fingers or just fingers. Vast majority based of Pat Martino's chromatic lines (google it)
edit: fixed some fingerings, added notes

I've become addicted to these exercises. MUST. FIND. MORE.
But seriously, this stuff has helped me a ton, especially the "Betchya can't pick this" exercise. I play basically all jazz while at school and that exercise helps me alternate pick arpeggios like no other, something that's ultra-crucial to authentic bebop and hard bop playing. Thank you sir. |
