Snagged a really beautiful Cordoba C7 CE today. The neck is wild on this one, almost looks like "flamed mahogany" if such a thing exists. I've always wanted a decent classical but I don't play enough of that style to merit a $1000+ purchase. Snagged this one for just under $500 and I really love it. Thing is brand spankin' new with the gig bag. Sounds great unplugged, and pretty great plugged in too thanks to the fishman preamp.

Thanks, I'm loving it. Of course now I find out that there's a limited edition koa one (koa being one of my favorite woods)! But still, loving it.

if the koa guitar is a similar price to this one, chances are it was only koa veneer over another wood.

Many purists would disagree with that guitar being a 'real' classical guitar due to having cut-aways and pickups.

Regardless, it looks quite lovely and unique. Also, I believe you got yourself a decent enough of a deal. Congrats!
