I bought a pair of over-ear Koss for 60$ that I love to bits. Sound bleeds out very easily on them though, so the person next to you will hear exactly what you're listening to. On the other hand, I bought a 30$ pair of Rocketfish for my PC yesterday; So far so good. They've even got this fancy "noise cancelling" technology, for 30$. Suck it Bose.

Checked out the JVC Air Cushion and it's not what I'm looking for. What are some headphones similar to the ones that come stock on iPods?

Those type of headphones allow a TON of bleeding (as in the sound leaks out badly), and I don't know many earbuds that are like those. But try and look into Shure, they're good at in ear monitors.

To cmon_john:

Yes you're a ****ing amazing person for posting the same exact thing I posted a few posts earlier. Essentially, I become an Einstein for today and you're my apprentice. Also, you didn't post anything that contributed to the thread that wasn't already stated. If people can have an "ONLY drug/gaming/religion thread", why can't you leave us alone with an "ONLY Headphone Thread"? You know ****.

I got a pair of Bose on ear headphones for Christmas, Great headphones, Best headphones I've ever owned but they are pretty expensive, I think they were around $140.

of course my cat ripped up the cushions and I'm not sure if they are replicable or not.

I'll take the list and put it in the original post

Something that has a bit more emphasis on bass and mids than highs. I've only seen open Grados, but I've also only been looking at stuff under $120.

I thought I'd just bump this thread instead of making a new one.

So I need new earbuds and are the House of Marley Jammin' earbuds any good?

Are they worth getting or is it just because they have Marley's name on them?

So I have about 200 bucks to spend on something, and I was thinking about getting a new pair of Headphones, seeing as that earbuds damage your ears or something.

I want a pair of headphones that sound good and also look good. I'm not a huge audiophile so it doesn't matter if it doesnt have the best audio quality in the world.

I've ruled out beats, because so many people use them and I hear that it's not worth the price.

I'm currently thinking about getting one of these :

SOL republic Tracks HD

Also I want ON-ear headphones not OVER-ear ones. Any suggestions?

I used to buy Bose headphones because they were considered high quality. I paid a $100 or so for them. Then after about six months, they got caught on something and only one side would work. I can't stand listening to music through only one side, so I went back to the store.

The sales person said that I had to put the wire under my shirt, so I did. But when I was taking my shirt off, the wire got snagged again and once again no sound in one side.

I went back to the store and told them "Look if I pay a $100 for a pair of headphones, I expect that they can take a little bit of abuse and keep playing." He reassured me, so I bought a pair and about a month later, the same thing happened again.

So one day I saw a pair of headphones at the Dollarama. I paid my $2 and the sound was not too bad.

So in conclusion, because the wire tends to get "yanked out" over and over, you have to ask yourself an important question "Would I rather pay $100 or $2?" I think the answer is obvious.
