yo i like on the might of princes a lot a lot a lot, but that album does drag on a bit. It's hella long. But very good.

i skipped over it, good thing you said this so i had a chance to 'look back and laugh' [via minor threat]. Quote:
it was only two years ago. you should only be ashamed of two years ago if you have been into music for 4 years or less. Quote:
yeah i was like huh like there's no ideal perfect album of course because we live in a dirty corporeal world. but like the velvet underground & nico is pretty unassailable. |

Lol, I love Kanye and all, but 808's doesn't come close to the scale and focus achieved by Cudi. I mean, it's his The Wall.

This is a good question. I think if you asked the artist and fans about a certain album you would get two different answers.
I think an album can be perfect. If the artist gave it their all and saw their vision through to the end then its perfect. We've all heard horror stories about the making of albums, so I'm sure lots of artists may not get a chance to do everything they wanted, or they ran out of money, producer wants a more commercially successful sound etc. All those things can hinder an albums pursuit of perfection. I never heard a bad album from SRV tho. The Massacre by 50 Cent, I don't know about perfect, but I enjoyed the shit outta that record in high school.

Yea I mean, they're really close, but I like Arular more. Most likely just because I listened to it first for a bit before Kala |
