IMO the difference between MIA and MIM really isn't enough to warrant such a price jump. Sure, they're better, but not by $1000 (that's the difference here, might be less elsewhere). A lot of the differences are more preferences than tone to me anyway.

Hey, and whaddaya know, it has 22 frets with staggered tuners so it only needs 1 string tee. And it has the Fender B-Bender Telecaster Saddles like they put on the American Standards of that era. Guess he knows his Fenders even when he gets them by trading amps for them.
