american standard strat would be the most obvious choice. none of those artists are known for using particularly unique or offbeat instruments.
you could go for an HSS strat- it would give you a slightly wider variety of tones.

Grab a used American strat. You might even be able to get an American Special for half your budget, and the upgrade it with better pickups and tuners. Maybe a rolling nut. Thats what I would look for

oh sorry I forgot to add the main thing that I'm asking -_- I was wondering what year strat would be the best? I read that 2012 strats didn't excite everyone but I don't know...

The new 2012 strats are great, don't know where you heard that.
Also what amp are you using? People often underestimate how much a person's sound derives from their amp.

You might also find a good deal on a "Strat" from G&L or Godin in that price range or cheaper. For example, I've seen used Godin Velocities on sale for as little as $450.

Well your amp isn't too bad. EJ uses vintage marshalls and fenders. I'd go with a used American standard strat, model year doesn't really matter they're all good years, and use the rest of your budget on a good quality germanium fuzz face which is a big part of is sound.
Check out a rig rundown or his studio tour, you'll get a better understanding of how his rig works and what he uses.

You might also consider Carvins, especially considering they're in your backyard. You could actually go to their factory store and customize your own Strat-style guitar in person...

the 2012's are pretty nice in my book. actually it will be more about the pickups than the year etc for what you want. ritchie used stock 70s strats for most of Deep Purple's stuff (gibby 335 on the early stuff). the 70s strats tended to have a little higher output pups than the 50s and 60s. he also used 200 watt marshalls with an early form of master volume. your crate while a nice amp isn't really the best option for deep purple. for hendrix you will need a fuzz pedal. don't play RHCP but i'm sure someone can steer you on that.
