Also, you want to do a write up for your blog again? Haha

Cheers.

What do you need?

I'll have a look, thanks.

Well when we released our demo you did that little feature for the blog. We are putting out an ep soon so I thought maybe you'd want to do one for that

Yeah my points of reference are a NYC, a BYOC that a band mate has and the Cockblocker.
I've never tried a civil war/green Russian or variant ever save for a musket. I LOVED the lower gain tones I copped from that too, yet the higher gain left me wanting just a tad.
I'm not giving up though, still wanna try a hoof and a few green variants they have at deluxe like the fredric, mojohand, W&C and ARC ones.
Don't really need one though, I'd rather buy another mammoth and stack it with the ss/bs mini, that was mad hi gain tone.

I done a write. As is typical for anything I submit to UG it took them about a month to put it up, and since it's about current musical trends I suspect every band mentioned has jacked the noise thing in and gone into 70s folk-rock revival or something...

http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/colu...whats_next.html

I also seem to have not posted here for a while. What's new? Well, I bought a Pedaltrain Nano and a Polytune Mini Noir and am already having to have a rethink. I used to go straight into my McSpunckle overdrive, which had top-mounted jacks, and the Polytune has side-mounted. During its first live unveiling, twice during our 25-minute set I managed to trip on my lead in a moment of exuberance and pull it out of the tuner, obviously completely cutting out my sound. One of these was just as I was about to start a solo, the other was a split-second before a song hit its stride. The solution will either be a lead with a right-angled jack or some gaffer tape...

I've also whacked up a song from our band's upcoming EP. It's not post-rock in any way but see what you think...

https://soundcloud.com/floodingrivers/follow-the-leader

We are currently piecing together a country/post-rock crossover number that sounds exactly halfway between Swans and CCR.

This intrigues me, and I can't wait to hear what it sounds like.

It sounds like they're gonna take 20 minutes to play "Lookin' out my back door"...

That's an interesting concept. I'm kinda picturing the "western" section from gybe's dead flag blues stretched out into it's own song

I'd love to make music like that.

*points at ibanezguitars44 with one hand whilst placing the index finger of other hand on nose*

It's basically that followed by a country-rock hoedown.

Gotta love it when stuff goes in interesting directions like that.

My drummer and I are hammering out ideas for the next thing we're recording(despite being so close to releasing our first album...yes, I'm insane, but thank goodness so is he) and I think it's gonna have some of our longer, more instrumental stuff on it. Stoked.

I'm just guessing- since I don't know that piece at all- but I bet you'd get a kick out of Neil Young's work on the Dead Man soundtrack.

Tombe, I had the same problem. I went to Radio Shack and bought a 1/4 right angle adapter. Now I plug my cable into that and then that into my Box of Rock and have no problems pulling the cable out. Look into it. I got my adapter for less than a dollar.

Have you guys heard the new Pianos Become the Teeth song? The new album is a huge change in their sound. I really like it and I'm excited to hear the whole thing.
