6505+ Effect Loop

Hey guys, I've got a question about the 6505+ effects loop.

I currently have a Tuner>Wah>Tubscreamer>Chorus>Amp set up for my pedal set up. I was wondering if it was worth putting any of these into the effects loop.

I've honestly never used one before, so I'm a little lost as to how I should set it up.

My rig is a 6505+ head and Randal 4x12 Cab.

Side note: I'll be getting a couple of pedals from my girlfriend for Christmas and my birthday (which is damn close to Christmas), most likely a Way Huge Aqua Puss and possibly a Phase 90, would it be worth running an effects loop?

Also, could someone link me to a guide of making my own pedal board, I don't currently have one, but I'd like one without having to spend an assload of cash on one. Would a suitcase with some velcro in it suffice? I'll be using 9 volt batteries almost exclusively until I get a One Spot Combo Pack (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/acce...spot-combo-pack) such as that.

Any and all help is welcomed!

Tune>Delay>Chorus>Comp in loop?

Tuner goes first straight after the guitar. You didn't mention tuner or compressor. I run compressors out front too.

I mentioned a tuner in the first post, but no compressor. I don't have one yet, but I will hopefully be getting one in the near future.

Do you know how to set up the effects loop on a 6505+, I've never done it, just thought it'd be neat to try.
What exactly does it do?

Just plug the output of of your pedals into the input of the loop (return) and vice versa. It places the pedals between the preamp and poweramp, making the sound or effect of the pedal much more prominent in the signal. For example, cath said to run the chorus in the loop, but I hate chorus in the loop because I prefer a very subtle chorus sound. I like mine out front and set very conservatively, however you may want your chorus to make a large impact on your overall tone

Awesome thanks, does anything have to be plugged into my channel selector at all?

Also, when I play with only my way pedal going to the amp I can hear it when I'm not playing. If I mute al my strings and rock the pedal I can hear the sound it makes, almost as if theres air moving that sounds like the wah pedal. I don't really know how to explain it.

Tuner, wah, ts, od, comp, phaser in front of amp; eq, chorus, delay, reverb in effects loop. Effects send to input of first pedal in effects loop and last pedal in effects loop output to effects return on amp.

You can turn the entire effects on and off with the 6505 footswitch. Or you can just leave it on as I do and just turn individual pedals on and off.

For your noise issue, I cannot recommend the ISP Decimator G String enough. This pedal on my board and is actually before my amp and in my effects loop. The before amp function of the G String tracks your guitar signal to track it flawlessly when set just right for your setup (only 1 knob). Your entire rig will be silent.
