Orchestral intro to techdeath album

Was working with the Hungarian Minor today It has some harmonic minor in there too. Its 40 seconds and meant to be an opener to an intense technical death metal album. Let me know what you guys think

Edit: revamped somethings thanks to ChemicalFire.

That's really good, its something you'd hear from Fleshgod Apocalypse or Spawn of Possession.

I liked it a lot, it's a very complete intro, and it got me pumped for the first song. Just a question: why did you add a distortion guitar anyway?

The sudden transition to double time at the drum fill is just a wee bit too jarring, but this is still badass. I'm not sure how you'd convey double time with that sort of arrangement, though, short of speeding everything up to 260.
Wait, no, I just did that. Please don't do that. It sounds like the soundtrack to one of those kvlt bullet-hell games if you do that. More syncopated timpani hits, maybe?
Anyway, this is boss. I take it Hungarian minor is like harmonic minor with a sharp 4?

You saying this makes me happy that you enjoy it. I've started on the next part which basically just went into a Fleshgod Apocalypse Style song.
