It's got a name between the hammer and frizzen, but I can't make it out. Shame I can't find a better picture or a name of it, that's a very interesting flintlock.

I'm going to my family's property in PA this weekend. I FINALLY get to shoot my 8mm Mauser. I bought some shot shells from a friend who brought his dads old 870 to a police buy back (I tried to stop him ). I got 2 boxes of slugs and 2 boxes of high brass birdshot. I'm gonna be running those through my Chinese Stevens 320. We need to check the local shops to see if we can scoop up some .22s for the Winchester lever action we have up there. It's gonna be good weekend.

Is it a 9422? If so you have a VERY fine lever gun, closest thing there is to the presafety Marlin 39. They're arguably equals in terms of accuracy and hardiness
