Definitely the best this year so far, idk yet if I like it more than last year's Purity Ring album or last year's Between the Buried and Me album or good kid but it's probably better than anything else from last year. due that Brave Bird album is really good. I'm glad I found it through Count Your Lucky Stars' free catalog download thing. I listened to the first few tracks on the The World Is... album and I didn't like it as much as I'd hoped to but I need to listen to it again. Just finished listening to the new Baths album, Obsidian, and at first listen it was pretty good but not quite as good as Cerulean.

Yeah, I'm listening Whenever, If Ever again right now and I don't think I'd call it a modern classic but I'm liking it a lot more. I think I just didn't like it as much the first time because I'd already been listening to a ton of emo the last couple of days so I was kind of burnt out on the genre momentarily. I really like how they use synths sometimes too, that's really cool. Also, the new Deafheaven song is so so good. I'm really excited for their new album.
