Scream

I want to scream till nothing comes out
I want to run and leave all this without a doubt
This isn't working, I've got to go another way
You pause for a still moment, you have nothing to say?

I want to scream but i held my tongue
I held these pills and washed them down
What have i done? this isn't right!
But what else can i do, you didn't even fight

I could run away from you
And start over, a chapter, brand new
And i could hide and cry away my fears
Finally give up after all these years

Reach up and out, a desperate cry
You reject my plea, now i paint the sky
Trapped inside, an anchor of death
I scream out your name, please help me oh Beth

Later on, after a walk away from you
I stand alone, bewildered, rejecting the pew
Here alone, with an empty hand
I'm nothing to you, merely a grain of sand

I always have a real hard time interpenetrating lyrics. I always have troubling figuring them out. Even though I only have a vague understanding of what this song is about I still think it is a solid piece of work.

My favorite part is

"I could run away from you
And start over, a chapter, brand new
And i could hide and cry away my fears
Finally give up after all these years"

thanks for sharing.
