They played Shogun when I saw them. It was a pleasant surprise.

Nick fired. What could it be? Sloppiness? Drinking? Partying? Dislikable personality? Introversion?

Just heard the news. Does anyone have any details on this?

I forget where I read it, but it wasn't exactly hidden, that Matt felt he just kinda drifted away from the band. To put on a great show you gotta be buds and he just didn't seem to be part of the team to the rest of them.

Finally got round to listened to Vengeance Falls properly, heard a stream of it back when it came out and I didn't enjoy it. I'm finding it a lot better now, it has a lot of nice melodies and stuff. I think In Waves is better overall though, the album is good but kinda forgettable overall, the last song is a serious banger though, I always appreciate it when Trivium do something different.

Overall a 7/10 probably. It's like In Waves part 2.

What was general consensus in here on it?

Looking at the recent articles on how much bands earn by doing concerts, I was wondering how much you think the trivium dudes each get from a concert like that. Let's say the one with Volbeat, where the profits were around 200,000$. How much does each member get from that? And how much do you think they earn per year?

I was listening to the Roadrunner United stuff last week and was just thinking of how cool of an idea that was and wish we could see something like that again in some sort of capacity. Really liked the coalescence of various sounds and flavors from the guys on the record.

If it had some blast beats under that chorus hook and thrashier verses with some growling it could have had some potential. My production schedule happens to be clear right now, Mr. Heafy, so drop me a line if you're interested in getting this back on track.

I am amazed by how bad this band still is.
