So I learned about pedal genie today where you can rent pedals for 35 a month. Kind of intereating but more then my budget for pedals for a year easily

I think a pawn shop nearby has some tape recorders like that. I'd love to use that for between song stuff.

Yep. The pedals are spread out a little, but I could definitely rearrange it to fit a looper if I end up buying one.

**** a looper, i reckon that's perfect. Extra space is awesome.

Today I traded my toyroom mammoth clone + the power supply that came with my el cap (9v 600ma) for a vexter fuzz factory. I payed only $85 for the mammoth and the fuzz factory is mint.

So on a completely different line of questioning from the boutique gear, how good are the Ibanez Soundtank delays/how well do they hold up? Got a chance to pick one up cheap and Iím wondering; thingís small, itíd fit nice on my board and I could use a shorter delay to widen my sound out a little bit, but obviously itís not worth much to me if the thingís just going to break while Iím at a show.

Soundtank pedals are actually pretty dope.

Also West, your board looks great! PT-2 for life.

thaaaanks

Two chats with two different friends today have me really wanting to get a decent recording setup.

Also, once my band releases our ep, I want to start licensing our music. A friend of mine has his band doing that and they made 5000 dollars last month from licensing alone. That's nuts.

Could I ask if he uses a 3rd party for licensing, or a particular website\forum? I licence my music through a 3rd party in Britain, have a had some success (not that much success though).

We were on a popular soap opera over here called Hollyoaks and got paid a few pounds, now everybody we mention it to thinks that makes us a big band rather than just another stuggling post-rock act!

Would like to get some movie\game\advert syncing going on so are looking at diferent avenues to do so.

EDIT: Afterneath looks and sounds dope. I really need to get some EQD pedals on the board.

I don't know what he used. But his band has actually started focusing on the licensing stuff a lot because they started making some money on it. So they're pushing that more than like playing shows and stuff. I'll find out more as the ep gets closer I guess.

Also, you want to do a write up for your blog again? Haha
