At the gates cold picking pattern ?

Hi guys i'm confused on how should we pick the main riff ( the verse riff ) of at the gates's cold !

is it : up - down- down -up -down- down- up -down- dwon....
or : down - up - down - down -down - up - down - down -...
or just alternating down - up - down - up - ..... ??
need answer guys

Sounds like you got it the first time.

up - down - down - up - down down - up - down - down | etc. (Be quick!)

You could always start off by 'cheating' and only going;

down - up - down - up - down - up | etc.

and only doing one mute in between and keeping the rhythm.

Thnx man , i'm always playing it as i mentioned first ( up - down - down - up - down down - up - down - down .... ) but i was like" is it right ? or am i going to lose time playing in the wrong way ? " lml
