Yeah, for some reason, eBay has divided their operation into regions. I'm in Texas, and there's stuff I wanted to buy that was listed in their UK or Canadian sites that I couldn't buy because I didn't have an eBay .UK or .CA account.

It's listed on Au ebay but he has only USA and Canada as where he'll ship it. I didn't even get a chance to enter a US address. It just blocked me as soon as I hit buy.
All sorted though, I just have to work around it.

Vocals are almost effortless to me. I'm a tenor with @4 1/2 octave range, starting at the lowest E# on a standard tuned guitar. As I have aged, I have noticed I've lost a couple of notes of the high end of my range. For instance, I know I can't consistently hit the highest note in A-Ha's "Take on me" anymore*, and I haven't tried Deep Purple's "Child in Time" recently.

I have damn good sustain, too. You know that 20 second one Maynard unleashes in a Perfect Circle's "Judith" and the long, low ones Rob Halford rumbles out for Judas Priest's "Dying to Meet you"?. I can do those on a good day.

I pick tunes up pretty easily, sometimes during the first run through. The trick is remembering to breathe at the right points.

BUT, unfortunately for me, I have allergies. When they flare up, my range and my sustain both get cut in half.

* annoyingly, Morten Harket, their lead singer, is 8 years my senior and can still nail it.

Frontman!

HA!

I have the chops, but I don't have the testicular fortitude. And TF is an essential quality in standing up in front of people and performing. ESPECIALLY if all you have to hide behind is a skinny mic stand, +/- a guitar to play poorly!

I've got the vocal range of Garth Brooks.
If I was ever a frontman, I would either be Iggy Pop or Felix Unger, with no middle ground.
I'm just not frontman material.
Although I've done the wildman, Angus, EVH, etc. antics with the guitar, although I would probably need major surgery and/or enough narcotics to scare Nikki Sixx to do that these days. I've done the semi reserved Dave Murray, Steve Morse style (Which really fits me better) bit. Depends on the show/audience.
