Securing a 1970's Bigsby

I'm selling a 1970's gold bigsby. It is not installed on a guitar. I see where the spring goes but I don't see anything to hold the spring in. If I don't hold the tremelo bar against the spring it falls out. There are no screws, hooks, or anything I can see to secure the spring. Am I missing a part(s)? or does the spring somehow stay when its installed? Thx.

They didn't have a video, but I found some on you tube. It seems there are no extra parts that hold the spring in. The string tension must hold them in.
