Ska BOTM October: Public Access

Yeah, I was sort of tired of seeing no one but Lavazza doing these. I really didn't feel like taking on responsibility, but it didn't look like anyone else was planning on it either, so here's what I could muster up. I heard of this band maybe 6 to 7 months ago when someone linked me to their free EP. I've been moderately enjoying their sound. They're a bit harder than what I would typically call skacore, but it works. Sort of like a Folly sound, but a lot more produced and with a bit more brass. Opener riff of the opening song on the download below is pretty cool.

They have a free EP called "Hindsight" that can be downloaded (once again, fo' frizzle) here:

http://www.communityrecords.org/sto...hindsight.shtml

And here's their myspace account:

I haven't listened to a so called "Happy HArdcore" band since Warm and Fuzzy posted here and ASOB were all the rage.

These guys are much to HxC for my taste. I'd mosh it up though If I saw them live. Especially if they were opening for someone cool.

Listened to them some time before.......it seems to me that there come more and more ska bands round which sound like LoC, which isnīt bad

EDIT: thanks for exculpating me

Hells yeah. I've been into public access since I saw them mentioned on 21deadmonkeys. I downloaded their "Fleeced" EP off of community records not long back.

THEY ARE TOTALLY LOCAL!!!

This BOTM makes me so excited. I've seen them buttloads of times. And everyone and their dog that I know goes to the same school as them. They're awesome people and make some funky beats.
