Baccano! is an amazing series. Not an anime fan, but it's probably the best I've seen, alongside Elfen Lied and Steins;Gate and Rumbling Hearts. Still, Baccano! may top any of those. The horns on that song are great. 7.5/10

Not the biggest fan of rap, the lyrics were a big put off, but everything else was really more about preference, so I would say 4-5/10

That is really good. 9/10. Also, I find Maw Maw Song by The Joy Formidable awkwardly similar to that.

I don't get tired of this album.

8/10 not really my style but still good.

Anyways here's a band my dad got me into, pretty crazy and a little heavy. This is one of there more mainstream songs. Mike Portnoy Is the drummer so.. pretty sick drum tracks.

That was ok I guess. The main riff is cool, other than that I didn't find it very remarkable. 6.5/10

Just to clarify, it's actually Gavin Harrison who plays the drums on that OSI album, not Mike Portnoy. Portnoy left after the second album. Nothing wrong with that though, Gavin is awesome.

Decent song, though not something I necessarily want to listen to. 6/10

Some more experimental stuff:

2/10 mate, 6 minutes was 7 too many

most music I try to appreciate the effort and skill regardless of if I enjoy it or not, But with this I couldn't

It did get 2 though because the intro made me laugh, and the initial minute or so was kind of cool. after that though it turns into like jungle thrash metal or something idk

this song got stuck in my head for like 5 weeks because I didn't know what it was, so I couldn't look it up to listen to it and get it out of my head. finally figured it out

EDIT: plus helena bonham carter

Yeah, I generally stop listening to that song I posted after about two minutes as well

That's a pretty cool song though^ I'm going to give it 7.5/10.

I've been completely obsessed with Pentatonix, despite never really listening to the original versions of the songs they cover.

This one's an original by them, and for those who don't know them, they're an a capella group:

OK, that's pretty cool. Acapella is neat stuff. Unfortunately, it still sounds like generic pop to me, so.... 10/10 for the talent, 3/10 for the actual song.

I don't see how anyone can think that?

A couple of my mates saw Crywank, apparently he was a snarling racist and a misogynist.

Try this one on for size sucka.

That was a little too predictable for me. I like songs to progress and change. I did however really dig the bass sound. I would like to know how to make it myself

My phone is being absolutely ****ing ******ed right now and I can't post the video

Just popping in here to give a PSA.

Y'all seem like a lot that enjoys checking out new music and showing other people your own favourites, so I think you should really check out the Mumu Thread

It's basically a public (or private) listening room which you can join freely. Inside, everyone can upload their music of choice either from their PC or via Youtube and all of it is added to a collective playlist that plays in sync for everyone in the room.

It might seem like it can get a bit chaotic but since we're a fairly chill lot there's usually no problem with keeping it civil and organized. Along with the player there's also a chat window which you can use if you feel like talking to the people who are also listening, but you can obviously just chill and listen to the choonage if you so damn please.

Here's the link to our usual room if you want to try it out. You can just bump the thread if the room is empty. Or wait for someone else to bump it and hop right in.

http://wavelength.fm/UG%20Love%20Lounge

Oh and if you're worried about people hating on your music, don't be. Anything goes in mumu, we're just there to enjoy new music. Or old one. Just music in general.
