International PEAVY 6506 combo vs Laney LC30 112 vs Peavy valve king 212

Hi UG,
Looking among the above three amps.
As far as to satisfy my METAL needs, i would probably hear most of you to go with the peaveys
The different thing is i am not into modern or thrash metal, just need a very very versatile disrtion for my vintage distortion hunt. i play-pure metallica nothing else, so it also has to do sparkling cleans on which peavy has preety bad reviews.
Peavy also seems to have some bad review when it comes to reliability if i am not wrong. My previous tube was a really bad experiance on whos replacement i am getting this, and repairs are really freakin hard to be done hear in india. In all i want a versatile tank like amp.

Laney is the 30w others 100 /60w...and my case is really limited to bedroom/garage level, no real loud btw it has power attunation.

Ps- high gain is not really my need nor is amp tone, my boss rig does most of it.
someone also comment on the difference of an amp having a 6l6 differs in tone in what sense and peavys class a to a/b swapping feature.

Thank you for you time!

Mesa mark II/III/IV combo probably way out of your budget, but really nice amps.

Peavey XXX/JSX/Ultra combo any of these will do that old Metalica tone and have pretty good cleans, the JSX has very good cleans.

Are Peavey Vypyr tube 60 1x12 combos available to you?

I suggest you try all the amps that you have avalable to you and make your own judgment on which suits you best

Just so you know a 30 watt tube amp will still be loud, very loud. Volume knobs are great for taming the sound level

None of those are very good options for what you need, to be honest.

The ValveKing would do the job best though.

You can sell your Boss MT-2. It's not good for anything.

Hit the front of the ValveKing with the OD-3 (level max, gain min), and you should get pretty good tones out of it for what you need.

Haven't played the Laney but I own the VK 212 and have played the 6505 a lot as well. it was already suggested that a VK with an OD would work well and I'd have to agree with that. The VK can easily get into that territory, probably not even with a boost but it will sound better with it.
