Does the 10 on the back of the headstock mean it's a 10 Top as well?

Be a good friend then, give it back.

If his dad really bought it for him when he was 12, you should never ever ever have accepted it.

Id say 2000-2500$ is what it could sell for around here especially because it looks to be good shape.

it's a 2007. where are you that a used prs cu24 goes for almost new retail prices?

canada? i don't think it would fetch nearly that.

What do 10 top Cu24s go for in the states?

Just as an example: CE22s and CE24s never sell for less than 1200$. Mesa recto 412s sell for 700-800$. Oh and Gibson LP customs sell for 3000-3500$ too. Rarely they go for 2000-2500. I just see newish custom 24's selling around here for that much

Just saying that if a new 10 top CU24 sells for 3500$ (like mine) then 2500$ is 72% of the retail price, 2000$ is 58% of retail. Seems fair if the guitar is good shape.

TS should give the guitar back either way though

Are you suggesting American made PRS DON'T look like SE's?

Now who's the wise guy?!?!

It's a Tremonti SE, worth ~$350 used. Send me a PM and I'll be glad to take it off your hands.

I'm agreeing with the estimate above of $1500-1800 (US), with a possible high value of $2k. New 2012 10-top CU24's are over $3k, but that's with a warranty, etc. And the 2011 and 2012 CU24's have some improvements over the older ones (in the eyes of most, anyway), primarily the 59/09 pickups (2010 and older used HFS treble and Vintage bass pups).
