It wasn't, but tbh I don't care THAT much (and the price is acceptable) so...

Fair I guess, haha, I guess once you're up to that kind of cost the odd $50 doesn't make a huge amount of difference

Soo-prahz, soo-prahz, soo-prahz! I don't know when they did this, but Carvin has added 2 Teleclone 7-strings to their product line.

I'll be honest, I really haven't liked much I've seen from Carvin. I know it's all great stuff, but the designs don't do it for me.

Dat spalted flame maple to tho....

So I'm putting lemon oil on my RG7321 and IC300 for the first time ever. Man is that rosewood thirsty. Especially the IC, I don't think that guitar has ever seen a tech. You guys use any of those special cleaning compound on any of your guitars?

I just rub my guitars and strings with a clean sock because I'm a weirdo and don't care about the finish.

And as someone that wears buttoned shirts, you should see the back of my AW-7.

Yeah I don't care too much about scratches in the finish, but I hate the idea of sweat and dirt destroying my strings, frets, fretboard and hardware.

Strings wearing out is the bane of my AW-7. If they're too old, the guitar is just a muddy, dull bastard that isn't inspiring enough to pick up and play. To be expected, but it is quite extreme.

Also just realized your gear. I want to play your VH100R.

Lol I'd say I'd like to play your 5150 III but I did at GC the other day. Bit too fizzy for me but it may have been the Line 6 cab they had it on. But thanks, lol.

On another note, I just ordered a TS 808 clone from Gojira Pedals. First non-digital OD. It's going to have a picture of Rasputin on it. Gonna be epic with the Laney.

Amp seems to be very picky. Tried some Ruby high gain tubes in V1 and V2 and there was this fizz that was leaving me a bit sad. Sorta ruined the high end that is usually very awesome in this amp. Now I've got some Sovteks in there instead and it is working well for me. Running it into closed-back cab with V30s.

I didn't know "Gojira Pedals" was a thing...

They are a company in the UK that makes a few clones and a few originals, all awesome sounding stuff. No relation to the French extreme metal band . Their big pull is they will put whatever the hell you want on the pedal as a graphic free of charge.

Playing a 5150III through the right cab I can safely say it's one of the top metal amps I've played, I'm definitely going to put the fizziness down to a crappy cab on that one

Also I'd never heard of Gojira Pedals until now... I don't like how little info there is on their youtube channel xD
