AL-2000 Buzz/Ground Issue?

My AL-2000 has developed a buzz through the amp in all pickup positions. I stops when I touch the strings or other metal part. I checked continuity with my DMM between strings and P/U covers, strings and back of pots, strings and input jack. All look good.

When I got the guitar 2 years ago I installed GFS Vintage '59 pickups, replaced all 4 pots with Alpha pots (1 original pot failed), and swapped in Orange Drop caps.

What else can I check?

Have you checked your cables?

I did check, it does it with several different cables. I have decent cables, too, like Mogami (Silver) and Live Wires.

I don't see anything amiss in the cavity. Perhaps one of the pots or caps it going, I don't really know. Hopefully this thread turns up some ideas.

Hmm, whenever I get a buzz with my instrument it's usually a cable gone bad.

The pots and caps are all clean I would assume.

Possibly something internally wrong with the amp?

It's a grounding issue. Check all your connections and if it still buzzes, wrap copper shielding around all the cavities in the guitar.
