If the tubes are at fault, would I perhaps be better served just getting an upgraded set? Or is there possibly a deeper issue here that would make sending the amp back to MF a better option? I'm not very familiar with MF's return policy (shame on me), and I'm just concerned about possible shipping costs piling up.

They have an excellent return policy, just call them up. It's your call but I'd get a new set in it, odds are in your favor.

Am I in the right place to discuss Behringer too? Or is there another thread?

Wait - so you had a DOA but it was just the tubes and they sent you a set? That's probably $100 in tubes. Is it running fine now? Do the new tubes work good too?

OK, ty. I have Behringer Vtone 212 and looking to get the midi footswitch fcb1010. I would like to ask if anyone uses this set up, and how easy to program and manipulate effects?

I have found some youtube tutorial type things but nothing with this footswitch and amp.

Or any ideas for alternative amp/effects combo's?

Cheers!

Close, MF sent me a new amp, Bugera sent me a full set of tubes. So now I have a complete spare set.

I have a similar problem with a 6260 head unit from MF.. Fully powers up with both power and standby lit, along with all tubes glowing, Just no sound when connecting the speaker cab and guitar.
Opened up chassis and discovered a burned/popped resistor, just lying on the circuit board. "nice QC here"

Any chance of getting a scan of the 6260 schematic, just need to ID the resistor value and get a replacement.
This is one of the Pre-Infinium units.

Thanks

Non-Infineum or Infineum?

Just looking for thoughts, I have a non-Infineum 6262 that I love, once I replaced the tubes and set the bias correct this amp turned out to be a real sleeper. Once this was done it became a lot warmer and clean not as fuzzy. Running a MXR 10-Band and Decimator out of the loop and a TS-9 and BBE Sonic Stomp in front I can get killer Metallica (Black Album), Judas Priest and Def Leppard tones to the T

Just looking for thoughts from anyone that has played a Infineum 6262? I just don't see any reason for this crap...other than another point of failure and less control.

Hey all, I just bought a V22 Infinium. Love it. Put JJ El84's in power section too. I have a question for any V22 owners...I don't notice a difference if I'm plugged into either the normal or bright input. They both sound pretty much the same. I haven't tried it cranked but at bedroom volume I'm not sure there's a difference...anyone else notice this?

Does anyone in here have one of the Bugera Bass amps? Or am I better off asking somewhere else?

Decided to pull the trigger on a V22 that I found on Guitar Center's used section yesterday; hopefully it ships out today so I can put it through its paces this weekend at some gigs. I've got my fingers crossed that it holds up, what I've heard from friends is that the ones that cooperate are really problem-free.

I get the impression they are putting Infinium in all their amps now. I have a V5 Infinium (again a great amp once revalved and after putting in a proper speaker).

On occasions the volume seems to fluctuate of its own accord which can be a bit disconcerting. I am assuming this is the Infinium circuit doing what ever it does but I don't know.

I think that the Infinium is a joke and ruined the amps. I much rather have control over where I bias the amp either hot or cold. Also just another point of failure!

We all know that these have had there issues with common failures with power. If I knew enough about how to remove the Infinium and replace it with a bias pod I would...

All that I know is that once I replaced the tubes and set the Bias the 6262 was a nice sounding head and really versatile.
