what does the necks feel like on Reverend Bayonet ?? .... do they have neck options or how would they compare to a standard Gibson and Fender neck ??

As a clever way to keep costs down, Reverend basically uses one neck with minimal variation on all of their current production guitars, bolt-on or set neck. IOW, of you try out a MiK Reverend of any kind, you'll have a good idea of how it will feel on other Reverends.

It's a medium oval, neither slender nor baseball bat-like. So, if you're used to a skinny neck like on an Ibby, it will feel fat. If you're used to huge slabby necks, it will feel like a toothpick.

The finish is either a black or translucent/natural gloss that is not sticky like some glossy necks can be.

Yeah but by the time you get them here they're a lot more. Plus that was then, I don't have room for any more guitars now (or at least ones that I only have a kind of passing interest in).

Well, where YOU are, this is your best bet, assuming you don't win a good eBay auction.

Time to get off the island, and find someplace to live without a ridiculously strong currency!

that actually might make it worse

it's the cost of living, taxation etc. which makes the prices here high I think (and probably a smaller market than the USA so they don't sell as much so have to make more profit per item).

You're right about the currency- my head isn't screwed on right, today.

OTOH, THIS is a helluva deal:

Essentially, its a hardtail Strat/Tele hybrid from 2010.

(I know, "lower 48 only"...but still.)
