Still probably another 10 hours to go... looking forward and not looking forward (because of the pain) at the same time haha. Just have to wait until July for my next session because he was booked straight through when I made my appointment a month ago...

Thanks though!

Are you trying to bring it to our attention that this exists? Because not only have we talked about it on this very page, but I've Guitar Pro tabbed out and posted the whole book here.

EDIT: Ah. I see. The digital version is new. My bad.

I've been on my first PTH show yesterday. I have mixed feelings, these guys are like gods to me, but something just wasn't alright... Monuments played before them, perfect show, great interaction with the crowd, afterwards they just came down in the crowd to buy beer and talk with the fans, I even have pictures with them and all. Then it was time for PTH. Rody came last, walking super slow and wearing sunglasses, saying he was super ****ing hungover... Between the songs he kept repeating that he feels like shit and that many times during the songs he was about to throw up or shit himself or faint. I'm a hundred percent sure they played way less than they were supposed to (they were playing in the same city this January as well, and played more songs). After they finished (less than an hour) they just straight up left the stage... We were chanting for ten minutes for one more song. Not even a goodbye or anything. Overall the night was fantastic (as I said my first time seeing them), but I kinda expected something different from them. Is it always like this? I don't know alot about these things, was I expecting too much?

P.S. thanks for all the tabs MacabreTurtle!

You're quite welcome, sir.

PTH are known to be drinkers, but it's usually not that bad. I've had better experiences seeing them three times.

First time I saw PtH they were an hour or two late because they were caught smoking weed with a few guys from Periphery (not their joint tour. I live in Maryland so I see them at a bunch of shows). The venue played Between the Buried and Me, Silent Circus, and Alaska before they went on. That was kind of cool.

Yeah I'm sure I'll go to all the PTH shows that are nearby.. Twas really good. It just felt like shit how they left so fast and didn't play an encore. My biggest problem was still that Arif wasn't there with them but of course they can't be blamed for that.

Not sure if asked already, but, how long does it usually take to learn a song from Protest the Hero. Weeks? Months?

Depends massively on your own skill and the song. Personally, I could probably learn (not necessarily master, but learn) most Kezia songs in under an hour. I could learn most Fortress songs in a matter of days. And most Scurrilous and Volition songs would just be utterly hopeless for me because I can't move my fingers that fast no matter how well I memorize the song.

Depends on how long you practice and your skill level. Also if you're using tabs or by ear. Just start learning a song lick by lick and eventually you will get it.

Yep! The last two albums are at a very awkward speed, about 10bpm so you need a really fast but precise picking hand.

I honestly find a lot of Kezia to be harder than Fortress (besides Sequoia Throne and Palms Read since they're impossible) and some of their other songs. Maybe it's because I'm fairly good at tapping though.

I can play Tandem pretty much perfectly, but still have trouble with most of Kezia.

Hey guys! Just wanted to show the progress I've made on my scurrilous tattoo. About 2 months until it's done but it's all finally coming together

The weird thing is, Kezia "looks" simpler. Then, you try it and it's like, "Ah...what the hell?".
