Can I ask why you're particularly going after cask strength only?

Dunno, just want something highly alcoholic and concentrated, that I can dilute to my liking.

But cask strength is I suppose not essential, so if you know of any non-cask strengths, that's cool too. They'll probably be less expensive too lol

You'd get a lot more choice on non-cask strengths is all. You should try Lagavulin 16, that's probably my favourite Islay malt (although I am a massive fan of Ardbeg, Bowmore and Tobermory)

I've mentioned it a couple times, but I can't say enough about how much I enjoy this stuff. So smooth. It's got just the right amount of burn going down.

First whisky I've had that tasted like a nice dessert. Extremely fruity, orange flavours mix wonderfully with coffee, slight smoke and chocolate. All in all, it reminds me of fruitcake.

I finished the rest of that bottle of whiskey last night. The Jefferson two posts up.

No hangover this morning. Just a bit of stomach rumbling. I've come to the conclusion that whiskey does not give me hangovers.

It's the white spirits that cause hangover trouble I find.
