Well, about a month ago I went ahead and ordered myself a JCM 900 MKIII, it came about 4 days later and I was psyched, I went to start it and it blew a fuse. after a month of begging and pleading and trying to counteract parental ass-draggery, I've finally got it working.
 She's pretty as all hell and I love her, the controls are far more responsive than on my other amps and it really does make me happy. So far I'm just getting a kick out of finally fixing something. I really like the way it sounds, it sounds good and clean, and I seem to be able to get some really good drive tones with it. Today is the day I bought everything for it so I figured I'd tell you a bit of my story on this. After the story above I finally received a nice little gift in the mail because mine got broken in shipping.  A brand new set of JJ tubes, 1 ECC 803, 2 ECC 83's,and 4 E34L's, I put them in and tried to fire it up, and blew the fuse, that is when I realized that I got a T1AL 250V fuse instead of the T2AL 250V fuse that this amp warrants. Later in the day I went and got myself a set of them.  However I realized that the ladyfriend's birthday is impending and I remembered I had a set of shoes I didn't like to exchange, so I went to the local mall and got myself a new set of DR Martens and a necklace for the ladyfriend as shown below.  Doc Martens so that I can look br00tz, plus I've never seen a more squared toe on a boot and I liked it so I figured they were worth it, they're comfortable and durable.  To make the ladyfriend smile, because when she smiles we both smile (corny as hell, I know) After getting home I put the new fuse in, put the amp on standby for 30 seconds, fired her up and watched the tubes glow,it was so satisfying seeing it go instead of having to take it to GC to have the dunce squad poke around inside my new baby. I love everything about this amp, it makes me so happy to see it working, and my rewired combo cab worked like a charm which makes me even happier. That's the long and tiring tale of my JCM900, and how my life suddenly became awesome for a day.

Good tube choice.  ECC803 for V1 I assume? Now attack it with a soldering iron and get rid of that stupid clipper. Don't forget to discharge the caps, they hurt.

Most certainly V1, and the clipper pull will probably come some time within the next couple weeks, For now I'll just enjoy it in it's natural state. Right now I've got other things I need to focus on and I want to make sure that I am good and calm to do this, I get rather shakey when I've got things on my mind.

I was pretty close to getting her a pair of combat boots actually, I decided against it in favor of something girly, she kinda switches between really girly and the goth types and I like both so I supply her with ample things for both.I'm still trying to get her to learn bass with me too, but she won't go for it.
