I'm taking a break from playing my electric and looking to expand my acoustic playing. I've had both an electric and acoustic for the same amount of time and I'd say I'm an intermediate player. I usually play classic rock and metal, but I' m really into folk kinda stuff like Zeppelin.

Can you guys suggest any cool/"shred" acoustic tunes? I'd like to take a shot at learning some new stuff.

you can play most of your shred songs on acoustic. you may need to slow the tempo a little bit on some though. i play A7X's "bat Country" on acoustic all the time.

I am in the same boat. Just recently bought an acoustic and in search for direction. At this moment I am playing anything that I find is cool so that I can develope my technique and portfolio of songs. What kind of music are you into?

Anything really like blues or rock even alternative. I was just looking for something like a fast finger-picking tune idk. Or slow it doesn't matter, just something to expand my horizons.
