singing

ive heard that screaming and growling ruins capability of singing,is that true?? cause i know a lot of artists who do scream and they sound good while singing too....

Yes. And it can also cause you to forget to use punctuation and proper capitalization of words.

Ok, so part of that was a lie. But, yes, it can damage your voice if you do it long enough.

Edit: And it's a matter of personal preference to say that it sounds good.
