I've been looking at abstracts at university and tried making "alternative" photograms. Placed paper negs emulsion side down in a tray of water and lit a lighter above it, the light thus bouncing around the tray and on the image, as well as lighting them up directly. Kinda ended up looking like caves...

Is there someone who can help me with this? I know almost nothing about cameras and it seems my best bet of help is in this thread. I want a camera for shooting music covers, just me in front of a camera, for around AU$200-300. I've found three that I'm deciding between:

The first one is a Panasonic NV-GS250, that usually goes for around $2000 but I've found a guy selling it at $240, it looks nice since it's 3CCD, however it doesn't do HD.
The second one is a Sony Handycam HDRCX240, and the third one is a Canon HDV HV30.
Basically it comes down to which one is better, having HD, or 3CCD?

the newer the model the better really, they get outdated so fast, look at the specs of each and reviews online. Doesn't do HD is ancient.
