what dose BR means ?

hi how are you

im having a trouble trying to figure out what dose a br stands for in the tab


here is an example: guns n rose-get in the ring very cool intro

It means you bend the note to the next note in the scale (In this context, likely to be the 17th fret), and then return to the 15th fret.

Yes it's bend and release. This type of notation is bad in tab because it doesn't say anything about the pitch of the bend (nor duration). The tabber should IMO notate it as 15br17 (if that's the case). This is probably also a contributing reason why a lot of "tab players" on youtube end up with inaccurate and random bends.
