Interesting link Matt.
Although I do question this bit on the last page:
"I melted the toner in less than a minute with the propane torch compared to a full half-hour of misery, pressing the iron against the board, praying not to smudge anything;"
Half an hour? really?
It rarely take me more than 2 or 3 minutes.
And I use very little pressure.
Although It took a lot of trial and error to get my technique right.
Especially with double sided boards. I had to adjust the timing a bit with those.
Even the text is easily readable.

^ Jeez! Lots of scumbags in the industry. Makes it really tough for the truly creative to stand out.

Uggh. I don't wanna start designing something new until I've got this Muff thing worked out entirely, so I have nothing to do. Decided to breadboard the whole circuit instead of just snippets, and it sounds awesome though. Needs a couple of small tweaks, and I'm still not sure about the gate circuit, but it's ridiculously versatile. Doesn't really do modern tones, but it does do everything from classic rock OD to giant stoner fuzz.

You've definitely got me interested in one of these pedals, Matt. Dunno what your intentions are with 'em, but I'm listening

Gonna knock out three prototypes in a few weeks, and probably send them out to those interested in trying. Just pay shipping to the next guy, and if you decide you want one, pay significantly less than I'll be selling them for to the public. US only for now. Hit me up at my username @gmail.com and I'll figure out the best order.

So post your current pedalboard, don't add anything that wasn't there.

I'm due for a new toner cartridge for my printer. It costs as much as a new printer so I'm just gonna toss this POS Brother away and buy another.
I got the enclosure hot enough that it melted the nylon chopping board I sat it on and I still couldn't get the toner to transfer.
When people start saying, "use a flame thrower" I think it's time to toss it all away and start again with something different.

Have you tried a Bugera instead of a flamethrower?
