Well I am the really nice musician of my area. I always try to help out people or musicians, but my nice has run out with them. I started a year ago making $250 a night because I have the PA. The last few months I have been getting $100 a night which is BS.

His house PA just went from 2 JBL JRX125 2x15", 2 EV 18" subs, 2 JBL 4221 SR and 4 JBL 1x15 monitors. To 2 Yamaha 1x15's with no crossover

Yeah, he was already taking advantage of you by paying you so much less. Thinking he'd get away with just using your rig for free (as well as having you run sound) was just tom foolery

Honestly, I'd have been out of there at $100/night if I was providing all of the equipment. **** them if they expect you to just let them use your equipment at no charge after barely paying you for so long.

Its what I've been using lately.

Really, in my professional opinion, you don't get any better than Weller.
Thier tips last damn near forever.

Awesome! Thanks!

Yeah, **** 'em. People will push the boundary if you let them. When they cross it, you have to slap them down. Doesn't have enough money? How much will he have when the punters all go elsewhere? Every person with a business will cry poor - and then buy a new Mercedes a day later. **** 'em. I've never dealt with a business owner that didn't cry poor, it just doesn't happen. And I'm supposed to fall for it? What am I a muppet?

So who bought stuff they needed only slightly?

I only ever buy things I only need slightly. Wasting money on necessities is foolish

Not me. My Black Friday shopping consisted of that BCBS four pack ($24) and a half dozen Stone Enjoy By 12.26.14s ($7.89/piece), so I'm under $100 for the day. I couldn't even get excited about buying anything, TBH. Gear is so boring right now.
