Stephen Carpenter tuning.
I was always curios about this man, what kinf of gauge he uses on his 7 strings when he play E standard Drop D or drop C, anyone knwons. Btw i think its silly idea to drop d or c 7 string .. ?

Normal I would imagine.
I always though if he tuned to drop D or C he tunes the guitar ddadgbe or ccgcfad as he doesn't like playing 6's any more so is just lazy. To be fair whatever gauge he uses is irrelevant. What you are more comfortable with is what matters. |
