Interesting link Matt.
Although I do question this bit on the last page:
"I melted the toner in less than a minute with the propane torch compared to a full half-hour of misery, pressing the iron against the board, praying not to smudge anything;"
Half an hour? really?
It rarely take me more than 2 or 3 minutes.
And I use very little pressure.
Although It took a lot of trial and error to get my technique right.
Especially with double sided boards. I had to adjust the timing a bit with those.
Even the text is easily readable.

^ Jeez! Lots of scumbags in the industry. Makes it really tough for the truly creative to stand out.

Uggh. I don't wanna start designing something new until I've got this Muff thing worked out entirely, so I have nothing to do. Decided to breadboard the whole circuit instead of just snippets, and it sounds awesome though. Needs a couple of small tweaks, and I'm still not sure about the gate circuit, but it's ridiculously versatile. Doesn't really do modern tones, but it does do everything from classic rock OD to giant stoner fuzz.
