Statistically speaking, I've listened to Elsie at least every other day since I've gotten it. 27 listens in 52 days. It's rare that I maintain such a high ratio for any album over such a period of time.
Just thought I'd share. |

Said it in the TGA thread, but I just realized this was here. Really dig the album. Don't like it as much as American Slang, yeah I think Slang beats '59 Sound deal with it, but it's really really great. The only reason I don't like it as much as some of the other stuff is the lyrics I don't think are as good. Instrumentation and his vocals are the best Brian's ever done. And lyrically, Behold the Hurricane is my favorite from any TGA or HC.

I've listened to this album about fifty times since its release. It's been about five months. About ten times a month. A little over twice a week on average.
And I'm still in love with it. |

It's funny that those are the two songs that you like the least, as they're very similar in the verses. I do think Mary Ann is my least favorite as well, but I still love the chorus.
But the chorus and bridge in Go Tell Everybody are amazing, how can you not like it?  |

Big GA fan, never heard of HC until I found this thread. Fired up Behold the Hurricane on Youtube and knew I'd love it within 20 seconds. Great stuff.
