US In a College Town

(Verse 1)
We're at the club dancing all around,
Singing all those songs 'cause we like the sound.
Every now an then, one will hit just right.
Girl I'm up for anything, 'cause I'm with you tonight.

After a while you've had enough, of the radio,
So you grab my hand and say, baby let's go.
Later at the house, I'll play you some guitar,
And that is just enough to get you in my arms.

(Chorus)
That's called love in a college town.
We don't say that word, 'cause we don't like the sound,
But if you take a look, you'll see it's all around,
And that's how it goes, in a college town.

(Verse 2)
When we're laying in bed, I hear you say my name.
When we're both too drunk to understand pain.
Maybe we should just call it what it really is,
But to be honest, I'm too in love with this.

The next day, we'll talk about last night.
Did you get thrown out, did I get in a fight?
All we know, is we had the time of our lives.
Just like I do, every night with you.

(Chorus)
That's called love in a college town.
We don't say that word, 'cause we don't like the sound,
But if you take a look, you'll see it's all around,
And that's how it goes, in a college town.

(Bridge-Verse 3)
Graduation will come, and it will go.
I'll just pretend like you're someone I used to know.
But I know it was more, I really do.
You and I, were of the lucky few...

(Chorus)
That's called love in a college town.
We don't say that word, 'cause we don't like the sound,
But if you take a look, you'll see it's all around,
And that's how it goes, in a college town.

That's called love in a college town.
That's called love in a college town.

Here's something I wrote the other day. I'm thinking of adding a few lines to make it a bit darker, but I'm a little unsure. The chord progression I use for it is D, F#m, A, E, with a slight tempo change for the chorus and the bridge. Tell me what you think!
