sonar 8 midi problem.

hi everyone. im using sonar 8 and recently i learned that i cant use vst plugins on a midi track. they just give me the option of midi plugins (mfx). i want to use vsts like guitar rig and massive etc,etc. help would be really apreciated.

guitar rig requires an actual sound to work with though, and MIDI data isn't sound. First you need something to turn that data into sound (Like a synth of some sort or a virtual instrument). That said most synths I'm familiar with are still VSTs so that seems odd to me.

thats one way of doing it, converting midi tracks into audio.
