I think it might be the tubes, as they have a sort of blueish glow when before they were orange. Would there be anyway to test if it's the tubes or something else? Also, where the hell would I even buy replacements?

So the lights light up on the front of the amp as normal?

Do they stop 'spinning' once you plug your guitar in?

What happens if you try with headphones?

Blue light is normal - that's the way the amp looks in Stand by. Do you have both the power and the standby in the on and up position?

If you do need tubes you can try www.eurotubes.com

^ Good for you.

Glad you got everything working too. I mentioned in your other thread that it has a built in tuner. I use a clip on tuner on my guitar because it is so much better.

You should have seen my Vypyr T60 NAD thread. I trolled everyone

I didn't list the name of the amp and only posted the pic of the back side of the amp with a pic of the tubes and then some generic clips.

Edit: here is the thread. Picture this thread with no real information or pics on what the amp was....

One of my favorite amps ... very nice Clean to low gain, definitely my favorite MIC amp. Very nice Crunch with a Koko Boost.

I have a VIP 1 Vypyr that is waiting on a new input jack since I pulled my chord plug and the end stayed in the jack and I can't get it out of the soldered back jack. Peavey could have used a normal input jack, but no, now I have to buy an expensive jack over something stupid as this. I'll not really pleased with the amp so far. Plus an extra $120 for the single pedal and over $200 for the double, kinda high for a 20 watt amp. And you can't loop without it.

Ah, I wasn't clear. Which amp model on the Vypyr? Twin? Classic?

I've found the Twin is the only one that I can get to sound ok with dirt in front of it. Might be a 30 watt / non-tube thing tho.

i nailed some pretty sick white stripes tones on the clean twin with the muff and whammy.
