One more kind of unrelated question:
What gauge strings should I get? I have .009 on right now which I think is too loose. The stock strings felt better but I don't know what size they were. I do down-tunings as well as standard. Currently I'm in D standard for playing Gojira songs. My guitar is an ESP LTD EC-407 (7 string) |

you can try ESP site to find the gauge.
i recommend you choose a gauge close to what you have now, if you dont want to change the setup too much. and that you swap one string at a time.
