I just heard of Starset on the radio. Granted, I don't know a whole lot about them, but I've heard a few songs(My Demons, Halo) and they sound pretty solid.
Also, Volbeat might be an option, but I also just started to listen to them, too.

Volbeat's latest album was brilliant. You may also want to check out Sevendust's latest album, the song "Decay" is the best song on the album in my view. Band's such as Red are worthlistening to also.

Divide the Day has a pretty good rock/ hard rock sound and their albums are free on bandcamp. http://dividetheday.bandcamp.com/
I recommend Comin in Hot and Looking for trouble Eps

Hey, check out Schatzi and the String Boffin. Southern Gothic/Indie Folk type stuff, with some pretty high sound production quality going on. Pretty talented guitar/mandolin player, too: https://soundcloud.com/schatziboffin/creek-dont-rise

Taddy Porter - Suggested album: Taddy Porter - Blues/Hard rock

They're a fairly new band, formed in 2007. Their self-titled album was aggressive rock with a blues edge, similar to Clutch. Their 2013 album seemed to lose that edge in favor of a more bluesy Black Keys sound, and I don't think it works for them. I can tell TP's still experimenting with sound, and hopefully, they regain their style in their upcoming album, because they have huge potential.
