Mhmm. Just like the player could either act completely as an Imperial citizen in Morrowind or more as a (honorary) Dunmer, depending upon which factions the player joined.
Even Oblivion, which has less choices (not that I found that a bad thing; it was just a thing), is left open-ended. You had no idea who the next Emperor was going to be. And it didn't matter either. |

Finished the Oblivion Fighter's Guild questline last night. Pretty cool overall, but damn, they should've just called it the AntiBlackwoodCompany Guild. Felt like every single quest was about Blackwood instead of the guild.
The ring I nicked off the Blackwood leader is pretty fantastic though. +10 to all attributes? Yes please! show
