I shall sub that guy. I would love to try it out but I did shoulders today. I'm pretty sure my delts don't need the extra work tomorrow.

As stated above, I did shoulders today. I am very proud of my progress in strength, but a little disappointed by my muscle gains. I used to only be able to DB Shoulder Press 35lbs for 8 reps, Today I got 55lbs for 9 reps (although my form on the last rep was probably bad in the latter portion of the lift)

Gonna stop taking white flood and caffeine for another month or so. My stomachs been feeling kinda bleh lately. I skipped the white flood today and my stomach feels good, and I can feel my appetite getting really big these past few days.

I just wanna shovel in so many calories right now

I gotta completely cycle off caffeine for a month because my tolerance is ridiculously high, but it's so hard to do while working full time and being in school full time. When the choice is between pounding down a few cups of coffee and not being sure if you're gonna fall asleep behind the wheel, it's best to just drink the coffee.

Maxed out at 295 on squats today. Failed 315 made it an inch out of the hole and failed. I backed off 20 lbs and got it with a pretty sketchy rep. I haven't done squats in forever so I wasn't comfortable with it otherwise 315 would've been easy. My bar placement is kinda shitty too I just need to squat more.

Hit lats and arms after didn't bother my shoulder at all. Its doing a lot better I just can't do push exercises or I'm afraid it will flare up again. I'll probably just do back and legs and arms for 2 weeks then slowly work back into push exercises.

I have to go to the gym later tonight, which sucks, now I have to wait 30 minutes to an hour for a squat rack. Is there anything I can do with a dumbbell that might be better or close enough?

you could do lunges and bulgarian squats. that sucks that your gym is so busy, but i guess its good that people aren't forgetting their legs.

Haha nobody trains legs here, after 5 the squat racks are swamped with "bros" (around 5 or 6 per rack) all taking turns doing barbell curls, tricep extensions, push presses and the occasional bench. What makes it worse is that their form is really, really bad for barbell curls and tricep extensions, way to much jerking and they move the weight around really quickly. Whenever I do isolation movements I use a 1 second raising-4 second lowering type of thing, just so 2 isolation movements are good enough

I would probably have to squat in the 12-15 rep range, the dumbbells at my U's gym only go to 85lbs, last time I checked

Yeah, I can kind of understand taking the barbell but not using the rack

felt like horsecock for the past week, backsquatted 100kg x1 (it was pretty hard) on wednesday, then managed to front squat 100kg x2 on my second attempt on thursday.
my body is breaking down, my knees are starting to hurt, my back is stupidly tight and hurts when i pull anything off the floor or backsquat, elbow/bicep/tendon pain comes and goes in violent waves, shoulder pain intensity fluctuates alot, and my wrists and forearms are either sore, cramping, or injured.
but the gains, its happening, i can feel them.
