P bass problem
I've come accross this 76' P bass and the tone knob controls the volume, and the output sounds weaker than any other bass I plug in to the amp. I followed the schmatics for the bass and made one change. It did not make a difference. Can someone tell me what is wrong.
Thanks much... |

First off what change did you make?
Precisions have one of the easiest wiring schematics to fix and install, so it should be easy to repair for not a whole lot of cost. But without a bit more info, its hard to diagnose.

Find out if when messed with in the past the volume and tones pots weren't changed for different values that are unsuitable.
