will 4 conductor pup work as a single ?

I just ordered a set of Seymour Duncan SH-2 and SH-4 from ebay. but i forgot to ask whether they are 2 or 4 conductor pups and the box contained no clue either. So, will the 4 conductor pup work as a single conductor ? ill be doing 50's wiring just. (no coil splitting or stuffs like that).

Thank you guys!

Yup, 4 wires are only used when coil splitting/stuff like that.
