Love the MK8.

The most I've done as far as assembly goes is slapping a BCM upper onto a BCM lower....

It was a BCM upper I bought for a SOPMOD Block II clone before I decided I hate the DD RIS II.

What didn't you like about the RIS?

I've been kicking around the idea of a KMR or Lite Rail III.

Hey guys, I haven't been in the loop for a while in terms of firearm prices, but what is the best bang for the buck revolver I could pick up? Looking for something in the 357 to 44 range.

Ahh. Yeah, the RIS's are a bit heavier than most quad rails of the same length.

Ruger... Much as I dislike a lot of their stuff, their revolvers are a solid value.

I also love my .30-'06 Ruger and would like a .223 Ranch rifle.

The .223 Ranch is a wonderful gun.

And I kind of want to build my own AK or AR. Is this a good start? http://www.80percentarms.com/produc...-lower-receiver

You'll have a hard time crafting an AK receiver out of it, but if you're good with a Dremel, you could whip up an AR receiver in no time.

That's funny!

Although building a lower from a solid block of aluminum with a dremel would be a feat!

If you actually want to build one, you can buy a completed lower for less than $50 and save yourself countless hours.
