Homecourt stolen

Love Love LOVE the way the Cavs played the Hawks tonight! They set Teague and Schroder up all night to be scoring PGs instead of guys that drive and kick, pick n pop, and feed their big men. When your starting and backup PGs jack up 30-35 shots, combine for only 8 assists, and aren't elite at their position......no one else is gonna truly be in rhythm. That's just fool's gold.

Injuries can suck a dick, man. LeBron's ankle, Irving knee, and Carroll knee getting jacked.

yeah you lot wrecked atlanta's game last night. Neither Teague nor Schroder are scoring PG's. but they tried last night, didn't work.

Korver still in a bit of a funk, Millsap still in a funk.

It's weird watching Atlanta. If their system works, it's the most beautiful basketball. If it doesn't work, it looks ugly as anything, even if they score. And the key to change from ugly to amazing is Korver. When he's off, Atlanta can't do much

also when did JR Smith become a superhero :o

It's just harder and harder for guys that consistently have to use screens to get open to play big in the playoffs. With the only major exceptions being Reggie Miller (my favorite player ever......yes even more so than LeBron *slurp slurp*), Richard Hamilton, and in his later years Ray Allen.

Plus, Atlanta doesn't have the talented BIG screen setters like Reggie and Rip did, nor does Korver have much of a mid-range game and the threat of putting the ball of the floor like they did. AND he doesn't have near the cardio to run around for 40+ min a game, sometimes just to be used as a decoy.

Yeah, I've always modeled my own game after those guys when I was younger

Golden State will win the next 7 games, they're out of this world right now. Curry 3-pt percentage is higher than Howard's free throw percentage.

You're telling me that they'll sweep the Rockets and then Cavs/Hawks?

So........the Grizzlies will be the only ones that get a win against them this playoffs?
Alrighty then

I do agree that now they seem to be the favorites. However, it's been one game at home against a Houston team that had no Howard in the 2nd half, and it being a 1 possession game with 16 sec left. It's a bit much to be so over the top on board with them, especially with them being such a jump shot team and how much they rely on fastbreak buckets.

It's still a better formula than any of the teams remaining, but think there's still a chance, should the Cavs get to the Finals, that this Cleveland team can beat them. There's really a certain grittiness to this team that reminds me of those first 3-peat championship Bulls teams

Good, but he'll won't be himself with the rest of the playoffs

since that fateful night I've reeeally warmed to Mudiay, though I do like Russell as well. of course this means the pick will be dealt or Phil will take that ****ing Latvian beanpole.

at least it wasn't 5th, I don't think I'd still be here if it was.

you've got a rough draft :(
getting fourth pick, needs help at pretty much every division, yeah.

you can probably get some FA's or something the offseason. If not, this could be a rough few years (although isn't the knicks already kind of in a rough stretch?).

maybe the zen master has some tricks up his sleeve

watched a vid on Mudiay. Kid could be pretty good. 6'9 wingspan, attacks the rim, goes for rebounds etc.

only 19 as well, so he's got time to get his 3pt shot up a bit. His wingspan and height are gonna be good for defence.

I mean to be honest, he is kind of like Exum (height, wingspan), but we know more about him than we did Exum. He's also got a bit more weight than Exum, so he's not gon get pushed around as much you know.

And Exum still doesn't finish well at the rim at all.

looks like a pretty decent player

I thought this was considered a good draft?

if they end up ending the offseason with D'Angelo/Mudiay, Monroe, and a few decent bit players I'll consider it a success. I used to have full confidence in Phil but I dunno any more.

I was watching Dario Saric videos today and got to thinking about what a good situation the Sixers are in. their lineup in 2 years could be Embiid - Noel - Saric - some SG [Lakers' pick next year??] - Russell. if 2 of those players hit their ceiling they're gonna be good for a long time.

I meant rough draft in that you got booted to fourth pick. Looks like this draft is going to be alright. I guess even at number four you've got a handful of pretty good prospects to choose from
