Wow, what an old thread!
As a lady myself, I guess I'd be more impressed by a guy that could sit down and jam on some bluegrass tunes with me than anything else. Maybe trying learning some bluegrass standards? It doesn't have to be something ridiculously complicated. Even something silly like Cripple Creek or Cumberland would be great. Though I'm sure many of you probably will be trying to impress girls that aren't musicians.

Check out Secoundhand Serenade, the name of the artist itself has what you are looking for. Strong vocals tho and is fully based on acoustic guitar. Or else i'd say try Hero-Enrique Iglesias, it got me with my girl
